The Medusa

Relating myself to Medusa for having a harsh exterior sometimes.
Medusa in mythology was raped Poseidon in Athena's temple and was turned into the hideous Monster she's famed for by Athena as punishment. (I learned this sometime way after I painted this)
Medusa maybe was just a shy person but with this curse of ugly we would never know because people died from it. *shrug* She did live alone in a cave without hurting people unless they hunted for her! Gee I'd kill someone trying to kill me too.

Anywho, Medusa is my favorite character from mythology also because I like snakes.
The snakes painted are venomless though they may look scary.
